It’s a mountain, or maybe it’s a fence

It's like a mountain that I can’t climb

And also a fence that doesn't actually protect me.

A mountain that I built

That I am stuck on

No one dares to climb the mountain

Its dangerous

And you probably just won't make it.

A fence that I built

To keep others out?

Or to keep myself in?

I can climb the fence but it hurts my hands

Why would I want there to be less of me?

I wanted there to be less of me

I'll have to cut it apart and sew it back together.

Don't avoid your problems

The patterns happen naturally, not perfectly

My fence isn't real

And neither is the mountain

The canvas and the paint, they are real

And my hands, and the thread, my art is real.

Evidence that I am real

That I can make

Maybe not mountains

Probably fences if i wanted to

I can make

This life, anything that I want it to be.
